Each medallion is 3.5 inches in diameter and made of wood; a small loop is featured on each medallion such that it could be used later as a possible Christmas ornament.

No clues are written for the medallions.

Seventeen (17) total medallions will be hidden starting on May 7th at 12 noon and the last of them hidden no later than May 10th at 5 p.m. 

Three (3) of the seventeen medallions are worth $5.00 each.  Take the found medallion to the Syttende Mai information booth located at the
corner of South Main and First Street, Westby where the finder can learn if his/her medallion worth a money prize or not.  THE INFORMATION BOOTH WILL NOT BE OPEN UNTIL MAY 17; it will close May 189.                  

All medallions will be accessible no higher than 8 feet above ground.

No medallions will be buried.

None of the medallions are hidden on personal property.

All will be hidden within the City limits of Westby.

A person can find and turn in more than one medallion.

No prize money will be mailed to finders.

A finder can keep the medallion if he/she wishes to do so.

Contest ends at 5:00pm on May 18th.
