We invite you to be part of the Amateur Photo Contest at Syttende Mai. Entry information is below.

7 NEW CATEGORIES (Color or Black & White)

Cityscapes/Street /Rural (anything involving a town, city, rural)

Landscapes (it can include an animal but main focus should be the landscape)

Syttende Mai (this could feature anything relating to Syttende Mai parade, fashion, events, etc.)

Wildlife (wildlife only birds, deer, etc.)

High School Student category (images could cover all categories)
-
Events (sports, candid, festival parades, etc
-
Portrait (images should feature a deliberate attempt at a portrait. Avoid snap shots or candid shots).

Photos will be on display in the windows at Westby State Bank

A certificate will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in each category.

Place entry tags on the back of tag board using double sided tape.

Only use black or white tag board.
-
NO wire hangers or glass frames.
-

Photos must be adhered completely to the tag board using double sided tape – please do not use photo corners.

ALL PHOTOS MUST BE 5x7

Only use black or white tag board. (Size 7x9 for a 5x7 photo).

One entry per category.

Once we can print your name on the front, if you desire to have your name on your photo. Please check the box on the entry tag.

A photo expert will judge photos.

DEADLINE

DEADLINE IS THURSDAY MAY 15 BY 3 PM.

Photos can be dropped off at Bekkum Memorial Library during open hours.
-
Photos & Awards can be picked up at the Bekkum Memorial Library for only one (1) week.
